• HSTF enhances the real estate industry’s ability to meet its current and future security-related challenges by analyzing developments in the industry's approach to emergency preparedness.  This committee also contributes its efforts to an information sharing partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security called the Real Estate ISAC (Information and Sharing Analysis Center).

• RECPAC analyzes national public policies that affect the real estate capital and credit markets.  This committee also develops policy recommendations that encourage disciplined lending, foster sensible borrowing and result in adequate liquidity and realistic asset valuations for the industry.

• The Research Committee identifies industry trends and tracks economic conditions to provids data that supports The Real Estate Roundtable's public policy agenda.

• SPAC focuses on a variety of environmentally and economically sustainable development policies that encourage high performance, energy efficient green buildings and progressive land use (e.g. brownfields redevelopment and transit-oriented development).

•  TPAC focuses on federal tax law and regulation issues, with a focus on how public policies should reflect the realities of today’s real estate transactions, enable the industry to participate on a level playing field and facilitate economic growth to benefit the national economy.
